Leiberman would be such a hero if he acted nobly, accepted his loss in a dignified way, supported Lamont and went further supporting other Dem candidates. Instead he is like a Mephisto character, having made some pact w Rove and others, endangering house seats, etc. But besides fighting back, now is the time for Lamont to exude confidence, a positive message of hope that we can see light, a new country and CHANGE. I read the oped in th Times on Sat re Connecticut robocalls trashing Sheys, etc. Like the rule of law in war, we should have a rule of law in campaigns, to be different, to be fair, to be positive. Everyone is SICk of all the bickering. I have hope w Lamont as a symbol of a fresh start. His win was symbolic of the right of the people to vote and choose a candidate. (vs. Leiberman trying to shove himself down our throats.)
